My style is 90% capturing those beautiful moments as they happen, with a tiny bit of very relaxed posing with you and your partner(s).

My main job is to make you feel at ease in front of the camera so there will be no stiff and awkward poses!

I take everything at your pace but if you need me to be the organised decision maker I can do that too!

But mostly we will just have a laugh and get some photos of you both in the moment, relaxed and loved up

Hi! I’m Eli Wing (hence the name)! a Queer Yorkshire based Wedding Photographer covering the whole of the UK.

I grew up in London but moved to Leeds in 2018, the best decision because who doesn’t love the north! I have just moved out of the city into the countryside near Halifax which is just a beautiful setting for a photo shoot!

Something you should know about me is that even though I am a photographer, I have always been very shy in front of the camera, so I can fully understand the daunting feeling of having your picture taken and will always be there to make the experience a fun and relaxed one!

I am also a massive animal person so would always be up for including pets in some shoots!

Brilliant, couldn’t have chosen a better photographer

Eli was brilliant from the start. Came to our house to chat about what we wanted. Was brilliant with our 4 year old daughter, really patient and kind, from start to finish.
He made the wedding day photography a breeze, kept it casual and fun, never had to do any awkward poses and never felt uncomfortable with his direction.. His editing of all the pictures is really a statement to his vision. He really caught the energy of the whole day, with our cheerful vows, fun and carefree couples pictures and loose and free dancing at the reception.

Eli was brilliant, not only are his pictures wonderful and capture our vibe totally, but he was very relaxing to be around. He never made us feel like we were being dragged away from the fun to take photos. He is fantastic at documentary style and just capturing the moment without too much posing.

Eli was a joy to work with, considerate of our needs as well as those of our friends and family. He was a calm presence to have wandering around and the photos they captured have been beautifully shot and edited. The colour grading is gorgeous and really captures how we remember the day, bright, warm and soft.

Zack and Sophie

Eli was a brilliant photographer. We asked him to take mainly candid images, barring the obvious posed pictures and obliged brilliantly. He made everyone feel comfortable and did a long old shift. We recommend him to anyone who needs and photographer and cannot thank him enough.
